Over 600 Special Olympics Virginia athletes, volunteers, and coaches attend the largest Special Olympics Softball tournament in the State. It is hosted by the Virginia Moose Association, and the Bedford County Parks & Recreation Department. It is a two day tournament in which each team plays a minimum of 4 games.

The tournament is solely funded by donations received for the event through the Virginia Moose Association which covers expenses such as housing and meals for all athletes, metals and trophies, and even a fireworks display.
